Accessing data using your copy of matlab

OPeNDAP allows one to give a application a url and have it directly download data. To read this data into matlab use 
loaddap('http://iridl.ldeo.columbia.edu/SOURCES/.BerkeleyEarth/.global/.gridded/.daily/.land/.deg1p0/mean+.yr/dods')
