Accessing data using your copy of matlab

OPeNDAP allows one to give a application a url and have it directly download data. To read this data into matlab use 
loaddap('http://iridl.ldeo.columbia.edu/SOURCES/.UCSB/.CHIRPS/.v2p0/.daily-improved/.global/.0p25/X/-80/-66/RANGE/Y/-5/14/RANGE/prcp/dods')
