| | We have improved the political
boundary and river overlays that can be used in the Data Library viewer.
To do use these overlays, click on the Edit "Plot"
button in the table under the viewer. Then simply select the box of your desired overlay, such as "states_gaz" or
and "rivers_gaz", and then the "plot" button. (Note: Overlays with "gaz" in their name are improved
versions of previously-available overlays, while both streams selections are brand new.) The "streams"
selection will plot permanent streams and the "int_streams" selection will plot
intermittent streams. Both of the streams selections are currently only available for South America and
a large portion of Africa. In this example,
soil moisture in South America is overlayed with state and
provincial boundaries and major rivers. Just click the "simple" or "more options" buttons to return to the
viewer. |
