Bringing Together Disparate Data

This is preliminary work -- we are currently happy that we can do this kind of analysis at all: grace and style and scientific validity will follow later as we figure out how to generalize and structure what we have done.

The main point of all this is that we gain a lot of power by combining our ability to handle many-dimensional data with the ability to handle GIS features and analyze tabular data.
