Description:   Latitude-depth section of ocean temperature anomaly along the equatorial Pacific thermocline at 150W. Contours drawn at 0.5 deg. C intervals with shading starting at +/- 0.5 deg. C. Thick black line is the climatological position of the 20 deg. C isotherm.   NCEP is an acronym for the US National Centers for Environmental Prediction.
