Monthly CAMS Station Percent of Median Precipitation

This map shows the percentage of 1981-2010 median precipitation (for the given month of the year) received in the month shown for each station.

Stations that received monthly precipitation above the 1981-2010 median value (above 100%, for that month of the year) are displayed in graduated shades of green indicating the percent of median precipitation received. Stations that received less than 100% of the 1981-2010 median precipitation for that month of the year are displayed in graduated shades of brown.

These data are from the NOAA Climate Prediction Center's CAMS station data set. "CAMS" is an acronym for the "Climate Anomaly Monitoring System" in use at the Climate Prediction Center (CPC) at the U.S. National Centers for Environmental Prediction (NCEP).
